Love is in the air at Outside Lands! Host your wedding or recommitment ceremony during the festival weekend in a one-of-a-kind setting and leave the planning to us. Multiple ticket packages are available to help you celebrate your nuptials.

Outside Lands introduced Outside Lands City Hall as a festival experience in 2024 to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Winter of Love, which marked the first same-sex marriage ceremonies in the U.S. at San Francisco’s City Hall. A donation of proceeds from Outside Lands City Hall ceremonies at the festival will be donated to Lambda Legal, a legal and education fund dedicated to LGBTQ+ civil rights.

City Hall is an add-on experience, for festival ticketholders only and does not allow entry into Outside Lands. Festival tickets must be purchased separately to access Outside Lands and City Hall.

The City Hall Ceremony includes:

• Fifteen minute (15 minute) ceremony at Outside Lands City Hall

• First dance at Lands End stage soundboard for participating couple* 
• Boutonniere, bouquet or flower crown for participating couple from Flower Lands (2 items total)
• (3) small bouquets and (3) boutonnieres for wedding party 
• 3-hour reception (inclusive of ceremony) in a semi-private, reserved section for up to (15) guests within Wine Lands

Legal unions and recommitment ceremonies only. Participants must provide a marriage license for legal unions or a copy of marriage certificate for recommitment ceremonies. To obtain a valid marriage license, you must make an appointment with the County Clerk. As a “while you wait state,” California marriage licenses can be picked up the same day. All reservations are non-refundable. After your registration is complete, a concierge will reach out to the email address used for the reservation to discuss your ceremony and answer any questions or concerns.
